In March, my five friends and I set off on a spectacular nine-day adventure through the Philippines, starting from Singapore (where we are all studying abroad). We flew to Puerto Princesa with a brief stopover in Manila. The overall trip was nothing short of incredible, from stunning sights to delicious restaurants we explored. I captured every moment wth plenty of photos and videos!
Puerto Princesa to Port Barton
After arriving at 10 pm, we spent our first night in Puerto Princesa and planned to take a van to Port Barton early the next morning. At 7:30 in the morning we squeezed into a van — meant for ten but accommodating fourteen of us — and set off on a two-hour drive to Port Barton. We checked into Eashantis Place, where a bunkbed and a full-size trundle bed awaited us. Despite the tight quarters, it was perfect as all of us could fit comfortably.
Stay at Eashantis Place:
- Accommodation: Comfortable beds, full-sized with AC.
- Amenities: Moderate water pressure necessitating bucket showers, WiFi that was good but not exceptional.
- Service: Fantastic hosts and affordable moped rentals.
We spent three nights in Port Barton, indulging in the local life. We rented mopeds, swam, and explored the sea by boat.
